Super Festival Weekend: September 9-12, 2021

Nearly 450 festivals this weekend with over 110 of those festivals in Ohio!

If you don’t have any plans this weekend, this post should be a real treat for you because there is so much going on no matter your interest. If you like beer, food, history, art – even skunks – I have a festival for you! And this isn’t only for Ohio. Many states, this weekend, have more festivals going with respect to other weekends.

You should also know that, if you’re having trouble deciding on a festival to attend, I have a slew of Festival Reviews for this weekend. There are over 30 reviews for this weekend’s Ohio festivals and I even have a few for some Pennsylvania and Michigan Festivals this weekend. You can find them all listed below, ordered by city, in the section titled My Experiences of this Weekend’s Festivals.

So what IS going on this weekend?

Well, in Ohio, there’s an incredible amount of festivals. If you like ethnic festivals, there are the Cleveland Oktoberfest (Berea), German Central’s Oktoberfest (Parma), the Columbus Oktoberfest, the Greek-American Festival (Toledo), Drive Thru versions of both Dayton Greek Festival and the Lorain Greek Festival, a Macedonian Festival (Reynoldsburg), St. Mary’s Egyptian Festival (Columbus), the Italian Fall Festa (Kettering), and the Hungarian Fall Festival (Hiram).

If you like food festivals, there are the Fredericktown Tomato Festival, the Marion Popcorn Festival, the Beavercreek Popcorn Festival, the Harvest Festival and Rib Cook-Off (Berlin), the Lithopolis Honeyfest, the Clinton County Corn Festival (Wilmington), the Mantua Potato Festival, the South Vienna Corn Festival, the New Paris Applefest, and the Ohio Fish and Shrimp Festival (Urbana). If you like shopping, there are the Yankee Peddler Festival (Canal Fulton), Antiques in the Woods (Columbiana).

And, then, for some other not-to-miss festivals, there are the Skunk Festival (North Ridgeville), the Rarden Whitetail Deer Festival, the Yankee Peddler (Canal Fulton), the Ohio River Sternwheel Festival (Marietta), the Black Swamp Arts Festival (Bowling Green), the Waterloo Arts Fest (Cleveland), and the Hot Times Festival (Columbus).

It’s just a lot, Ohio, so let me help you with the festival listings, the map and the reviews. Get your plans in order now and have the best weekend possible!

Now here are some festivals I would check out in the other states:
