Oktoberfests, Pow Wows, Pumpkins, Antiques and Fall/Harvest Festivals galore.
Welcome back, Festival Fans!
As we enter October, the festival scene remains strong with tons of festivals – as you can see by the map below.
Festivals are more Fall/Harvest-focused with all sorts of Oktoberfests, Apples, Pumpkins and more.
Let’s take a quick look at some returning festivals so you can better understand what I mean…
The Beaver Oktoberfest (Review) is a town festival that offers rides, games, all sorts of entertainment, a nice selection of food and a variety of vendors.
The Atwood Area Fall Festival (Review) at the Atwood Lake Campgrounds in Mineral City offers over 100 crafters and exhibitors, live music and shows at multiple stages, food, Mountain Men, an antique engine show and more.
The Three Sisters Intertribal Pow Wow (Review) also takes place at the Atwood Lake Campgrounds in Mineral City with a variety of vendors, food trucks and a celebration of dances.
The Paul Bunyan Show (Review) in Old Washington (Cambridge) is one of the largest and oldest forest-industry shows in the country with 140 vendors, many live equipment demonstrations and a nice selection of food.
The Indian Mount Festival (Review) in The Plains is a family friendly festival with food and craft vendors, and entertainment that includes live music and animal shows. Visitors can take a wagon ride tour to see some of the mounds.
Dayton Pagan Pride Day (Review) is a welcoming festival that attempts to eliminate religious discrimination through education while offering entertainment, vendors, food and more.
The Chocolate Festival (Review) in Dayton is put on by Fair and Friends Radio and consists of church, organization and vendor booths who offer chocolate sales or free chocolate samples. Entertainment, food and kids activities are also present.
The Huntsburg Pumpkin Festival (Review) is a small town festival offering giant pumpkins, all sorts of pumpkin foods and treats, games, crafts, and live music.
The Holmes County Antique Festival (Review) in Millersburg has much more than an antique market, arts and crafts and an antique car show. There is live entertainment, open markets, parades, kids activities and delicious food.
