This post documents my experience on September 16, 2017.

Deep in the Eastwood Metropark…

…people came together to celebrate Dayton Pagan Pride Day.

To help direct arriving visitors, arrows with markers pointed festival goers…

…to marked shelters surrounding the grounds…

…where they would find either musical performances or educational lectures (Selena Fox)…

…while, in the midst of the shelters sat a Ritual Circle…

…as well as an altar walk…

…where groups set up themed altars with explanations of each element…

….(my favorite was the Dollar Store Altar).

Booths on the grounds were hosted by groups, such as the Asatru Community and Chalice of the Willow

…and there was a long line of vendors…

…offering natural gemstone jewelry (Silver Willow Creations)…

…assorted handmade jewelry (Luna Original Designs)…

…various artistic pieces (Cousins of the Crafts)…

…candles…

…wands (Hamilton Hardwoods)…

…incense and conjure oils (Big Liz)…

…and even tarot card readings for a small donation.

There were food vendors present with vegan/vegetarian fare (Sprouting Dreams)…

…and vegan desserts…

…and, while there was a food truck with meat and/or dairy products, it left moments before due to a generator malfunction.
