Columbus Italian Festival, Apples, Apple Butter, Pumpkins, Sauerkraut, Oktoberfests, Halloween and Fall/Harvest Festivals this weekend.
Welcome back, Festival Fans!
This is one of the last really strong festival weekends before things start to shift. After this weekend, outdoor festivals are going to lessen and there’s going to me more of a focus on indoor craft shows and events.
So really try and get out this weekend and take advantage of the weather. I think it’s supposed to be pretty nice.
Here are some of the returning festivals this weekend…
The Columbus Italian Festival (Review) takes place at St. John the Baptist Church, offering delicious Italian food, entertainment, music, rides, games, a children’s activity area and more.
The Oak Harbor Apple Festival (Review) is a great fall festival with tons of food (including apple grub), rides, vendors and entertainment.
The Enon Apple Butter Festival (Review) is a fall festival put on to raise money for both the local historical society and area non-profit organizations. Lots of food and handmade crafts.
The Ohio Sauerkraut Festival (Review) in downtown Waynesville hosts one of the best craft shows in the nation with a focus on interesting sauerkraut dishes for the curious foodie. Everything from sauerkraut pizza to sauerkraut donuts and sauerkraut fudge.
The Yellow Springs Street Fair (Review) is a biannual one-day festival offering a great variety of vendors, music, food and culture.
The Spooky Pooch Parade (Review) takes place at Lakewood’s Kauffman Park, offering a festival for dog lovers and a special parade with all types of costumes.
The Algonquin Mill Fall Festival (Review) offers festival goers plenty of crafts, food and history as they explore the mill complex near Carrollton, Ohio.
The Ohio Renaissance Festival (Review) in Waynesville is Ohio’s biggest Renaissance/Ohio festival made up of a permanent village that offers 24 stages, over 100 shops, plenty of food, games, fun and more.
The Lighthouse Festival (Review) takes place within the Lakeside Community and the Marblehead Peninsula by means of crafts, lighthouse tours and local business promotions.
