When Oak Harbor’s N. Church and W. Water streets turn into Blossom Lane and Apple Street…
…you know the Apple Festival is going on…
…with its rides…
…games…
…and entertainment.
Vendors came in the forms of school-related boosters…
…cancer-fighting relay support…
…flu shots (Magruder)
…creatively named local merchants (Happy Hooker)…
…dog training (Sit Means Sit)…
…and an interesting collection of cheap…
…domestic (Tupperware)…
…and discounted products…
…with yet more found at the VFW Hall.
Food was also plentiful…
…with a variety that included perch…
…cabbage and noodles…
…and Jamaican.
And then there were apples (Moore).
Not only were there basic candy and caramel apples at the festival…
…there were pies (St. Paul Lutheran)…
…cookies…
…a ton of dumplings…
…funnel cakes…
…butter (Boy Scout Troop 316)…
…cider slush…
…slices topped with goodies (Shoreline Church)…
…and a hodgepodge from Bergman, which included more apples…
…butter, cider…
…and even baked goods…
…where the Apple Danish Cheesecake sounded incredible!
