63.) Pumpkin Festival Review – Huron – October 13, 2018

Out at the Huron Boat Basin…

…Huron Parks and Recreation put on a Pumpkin Festival

…where kids painted pumpkins (Huron Public Library)…

…watched pumpkins drop from the air and explode (Barnes Nursery)…

…checked out business-decorated pumpkins…

…many of which were very creative (Huron Public Library/Hi-Tack)…

…and took part in all sorts of kids’ games…

…that were both with and without pumpkins.

A booth sold tickets for some of these activities…

…which also included jump houses…

…pony rides…

…and face painting…

…while there were also free activities…

…such as chalk art…

…and giant family games like Connect 4…

…and Jenga.

And if all the activities didn’t work up an appetite…

…festival goers could also go to the stage for an educational animal show (Jungle Bob Tuma)…

…to get up close and pet various animals…

…or they could hang out at the petting zoo (Jungle Island Zoo)…

…to pet and/or feed the various farm animals…

…not to mention two cute kangaroos…

…and the most adorable camel.
