We are finally getting into May, festival fans!
The warming temperatures have been allowing festivals to take place outdoors and ensure safer measures to actually happen. As a result, we are seeing more pins in the map below and growing lists of festivals.
It’s not as big as last weekend, but it’s still pretty significant with over 80 festivals and shows listed below. One of the festivals this weekend is actually a favorite of mine – the Dandelion May Festival in Dover (you can read my experience HERE).
This weekend, here is a taste of what they’ll be celebrating in each state…
Florida: Afro Roots, pirates, tequila, tacos, crawfish and hibiscus.
Georgia: BBQ, mushrooms, Spring, and the Renaissance.
Illinois: Tulips, beer, wine, food trucks, and kites.
Indiana: Beer, wine and BBQ.
Kentucky: No festivals this weekend.
Michigan: Hippies, tulips, Cinco de Mayo and the Irish.
New York: Daffodils, cherry blossoms and crawfish.
Ohio: Herbs, dandelions, Spring, art and the Civil War.
Pennsylvania: Bluegrass, maple and Spring.
Tennessee: Cornbread, moonshine, Spring, arts, crafts and antiques.
West Virginia: Ramps, Spring and crafts.
Wisconsin: Fish and Fun.

On the website, I am still updating Festival Schedules. I have finished going through Ohio, Florida, Georgia and Illinois. I’m now working on Indiana and should have it done (along with Kentucky and Michigan) by this weekend.
