It’s the biggest festival weekend I’ve seen in a while, festival fans!
Not only is this the first time in forever that all 12 states have at least one in-person event going, but there are actually around 90 festivals listed below with the majority happening in Florida, Georgia, Indiana, Kentucky, Michigan, Ohio and Tennessee.
Just look at the lists below – and don’t forget to look at the map because you’ll find a lot of pins.
This weekend, here is a taste of what they’ll be celebrating in each state…
Florida: Blueberries, oysters, bacon, corn, the Renaissance, Puerto Rican culture and even cannabis.
Georgia: Onions, strawberries, crabapples, turkey, horneyhead fish and lemonade.
Illinois: Pretzels, spring and art.
Indiana: Syrup, wine, the Earth, Vikings and the Civil War.
Kentucky: Bluegrass, beer, spring – not to mention Spring Chicken – oh, and even a new festival about the Colonel who brought us some fried chicken.
Michigan: Trout, walleye, fairies and lots of syrup.
New York: Beer.
Ohio: While the Ohioana Book Festival is Virtual (with R.L. Stine of Goosebumps!), there is a Vintage Market Days going on in Hilliard, an Earth Gathering Festival in Chillicothe and plenty of vendor shows.
Pennsylvania: Maple.
Tennessee: Ramps, Irises, Sweet Tea, Wine and Bluegrass.
West Virginia: Spring Mountain and Spring Market.
Wisconsin: Virtual Jazz and some grub in Rome (Wisconsin).

On the website, I have updated all the festivals in May for all the states as well as Ohio’s Festivals and Fairs for the remainder of the year. If you are involved with any event, be sure that it’s listed correctly.
Next I will start going through the festivals from June through December for all the other states. It still may take me a good week or two to get through them all.
