Festivals and Events for your St. Patrick’s Day Weekend!
I’m writing to you on St. Patrick’s Day morning as Irish music plays in the background. Now, mind you, I am not Irish at all – although St. Patrick was Romano-British and we could potentially share similar DNA – but I do love Ireland, the culture, and the whiskey, so I’m wearing green all the same. :-)
In Ohio, the age for the vaccine is dropping again on Friday to 40+ (to 16+ on March 29) and this is my age group, so I am already scheduled for my first shot on Saturday (Woo hoo!).
Now, I know there are people who are simply against vaccines or who don’t get flu shots annually, but I’ve been surprised to hear how political the issue on the vaccine has become.
If you don’t plan on getting the vaccine, I hope you will reconsider as it would get our country (and the world) so much closer in overcoming this virus and getting life back on track again. Look to Dolly Parton for inspiration.

Considering festivals this weekend, Florida and Georgia are the states with the most events, celebrating St. Patrick’s Day, Margaritas, Seafood, Strawberries, Cherry Blossoms and Wild Chickens.
Beyond that, there is an occasional festival or two in Michigan, Tennessee, West Virginia, Pennsylvania and Wisconsin and some vendor shows and expos in Ohio.

This past week, I have been able to find many more festivals I didn’t know about for states like Florida, Tennessee and Wisconsin and they have all been added to the Festival Schedule pages.
In the next week or so, I should finish up going through Round 2’s festival listing update. Then I may wait until April to go through it all again because many festivals are still waiting to see what they can actually do.
