Two weeks’ worth of festivals so that you don’t miss any of the 4th of July Festivals.
This is a different kind of post, Festival Fans.
Since July 4th is Thursday this year and many Independence Day festivals begin a few days beforehand (in this case, Monday, Tuesday and Wednesday), it seems foolish to have next week’s post come out Wednesday when you would be missing some prime festival time.
That’s why I’m putting THIS WEEK’S post and NEXT WEEK’S post TOGETHER.
If you are reading this anytime before July 7, 2024, you are in the right place.
Down below, you will see lists broken out week by week, but the map is covering it all.
In order for you to make sense of the map, I’ve colored the first weekend (June 27-30) of festival cities RED and the second week (July 1-7) of festival cities BLUE (Think in the order of Red, White, and Blue…except I’m not making any white pins).
If a city has festivals both weeks? Purple! Makes sense, right?
The only thing that may be bewildering is that the colors are the same for all the states and you may lose a sense of borders. BUT, if it’s not much farther than what you would travel, it may be worth going to that festival anyway (see the link below for the post at Festival Guides and Reviews to see what those out-of-state festivals are).
Concerning festival recommendations, here are some festivals I can recommend for each week…
WEEK 1 – June 27-30
WEEK 2 – July 4-7
Beyond this, I’ll highlight a few in the list that look interesting.
Maybe that will help some festivals stick out a little bit as well.
