As the boats of Huron basked in the summer sun…
…land lovers explored the Huron Rotary Fine Art and Food Festival.
The food was concentrated here…
…with some Rotary corn…
…a few food trucks (Donut Lab/Krav)…
…and a fudge vendor.
And although there was a stage used at certain times…
…and a Budweiser trailer that only teased festival goers while I was there…
…the obvious draw was the nice selection of art.
For not only were there paintings, glass work…
…pottery, beads…
…and colorful stained glass (Kylee Kreations)…
…but there was art that really fit that nautica-esque Huron setting…
…especially with the beautiful painted lighthouses (Kathie Widing)…
…and vibrant wooden sea critters (Nick Vidakovic).
