Cinco de Mayo, Turkeys, Dandelions and a little Fantasy this Mother’s Day Weekend.
Now that it’s May, AND Mother’s Day Weekend (Happy Mother’s Day!), the festivals are picking up even more. Not only are there various spring festivals going on now, there are also an Appalachian Festival in Cincinnati, Green on the Green in Columbus and various Cinco de Mayo Celebrations in Cincinnati, Fremont, and Willoughby.
And that’s not all!
As some festival goers head to Dover’s Breitenbach Winery for a Dandelion Festival featuring their Dandelion Wine, others will be en route to Cortland for the NEO Fantasy Festival to see a unicorn, chat with some mermaids and perhaps even befriend a fairy or elf.
Some may even be flying down to McArthur for the Wild Turkey Festival.
In short, there are 20 festivals, many with links to my reviews below, as well as a bunch of vendor shows going on throughout the state. A great weekend for festivals, shows, Cinco de Mayo and Mothers.
