Maple, Beer and Shopping – Oh my!
Hello there, Festival Fans! I hope you are doing well. This weather has been all over the place lately, but that could be good for the maple syrup harvest. Speaking of which, there are three Maple Festivals going on this weekend in Lucas, Bath and College Corner. Especially if you have children, it could be neat to show them the maple syrup process and maybe get a maple treat (I’m a sucker for those maple leaf sugar candies myself).
If you don’t have kids (or if you have a sitter), then there are some Beer Festivals in Cleveland and Columbus with a Wine event in Madison. Just be sure to drink responsibly or have a plan on getting home (ie Uber, etc.).
If none of these festival themes is your idea of a good time, there are some shopping festivals as well as vendors shows going on throughout the state. There are also a Pet Expo, a Psychic Fair, a Train and Toy Show, and plenty of crafts – so hopefully, you will find something to do this weekend.
