Winter temps return for Brite Winter, Perry Winterfest and the Medina Ice Festival!
Welcome back, festival fans.
Those Kurents did a great job last weekend when they scared away the winter, bringing warm weather to Ohio and melting all the snow we’ve been living with.
And while it may be a little disappointing for the temperatures to dip down again this weekend, it creates the perfect environment for some of this weekend’s festivals.
One such festival that’s great in winter weather is Brite Winter (Review).
And it’s returning Saturday to Cleveland’s Waterloo Arts District with all the fantastic Art and Art-Making, over 30 bands, Food, bonfires and more (this is a ticketed event).
Another great winter festival is the Medina Ice Festival (Review) because who wants warm weather when you have over 120 Ice Carvings, a Fire and Ice Tower, Ice Carving Competitions and more?
Believe me, I went once when the temps were in the upper 50’s and it was sad to see the ice sculptures melting away.
Also this weekend are the Perrysburg Winterfest – a good winter festival – and indoor fests like Beatlefest in Kent, a Greek Food Festival in Campbell, all sorts of shows, vendor markets and more.
And, if you are still concerned about this weekend’s dipping temperatures, the Burning Snowman Fest – taking place next weekend – can work its magic to bring those temps back up again.
