With warmer than normal temps, I returned once again to Brite Winter…
…and enjoyed their new picturesque festival location on the west bank of the Flats.
This new location offered plenty of space for games…
…musical performance stages…
…(which were also set up within area businesses)…
…a nice assortment of food trucks…
…and various tent areas…
…where you could find gift vendors (Michelle Romary)…
…vittles (Brewnuts)…
…musical entertainment…
…and interactive installations (making music with things found in the kitchen).
Sometimes the enclosed areas were a bit difficult to get through…
…making the open area much more enjoyable.
It was also outside where you could find plenty of fire pits…
…beverages stations…
…more musical entertainment (Miss Macy and the Low Pay Daddys)…
…and activities that included a photo booth…
…ping pong…
…Foosball…
…and even some art to climb on.
And if I can give any advice, it would be to stay until dark…
…for that’s when the disco ball will start spinning…
…the lights will start flashing…
…and everything will seem a little more magical…
…helping you forget the cold.
