This post documents my experience on August 12, 2018.
AUTHOR’S NOTE: I originally thought this festival was an Oktoberfest (this photo was taken at the festival), but later noticed that their Facebook page called it an International Family Festival.
In 2021, I was told that it was officially the Ss. Robert and William Family Festival.

The weather was beautiful when I got to Ss. Robert and William Catholic Parish…
…for the International Family Festival.

Car lovers admired pristine vehicles at the car show…
…couples danced to the music (Phil ‘n the Blanks)…
…and hungry festival goers…
…chose foods from Italy…
…Eastern Europe…
…or here in the States with BBQ, mussels and clams.
And the desserts were as delightful with homemade pie…
…ice cream sundaes…
…and some tempting fried dough.
Just around the corner…
…there was an entire children’s area…
…with pony rides…

…inflatables…
…face painting…
…and a game area…

…where kids won tokens…
…that could be cashed in for prizes.
Adults also had gaming opportunities…

…whether for winning cash…

…a beer from the nearby bar…
…(the glass has to stop over a part of the red circle)…
…a three year lease on a car…
…or raffled items…
…found in the bake sale room…

…or in the gym, where the quantity was amazing.
Here, Don Disantis’s voice lured and kept festival goers…
…as they either enjoyed tea and cake in the tea garden…
…or decided on some filling food…
…like I did with this cavatelli and meatball.
