Ice festivals for a cold weekend.
I remember that, one year, I went to both the Medina Ice Festival and the Brite Winter Festival on the same day. In the afternoon that day, it was 50 degrees and the ice sculptures were dripping all over the sidewalk in Medina. But, by the time I got to Brite Winter in the evening, the temperatures dramatically dropped below freezing with chilly winds and I definitely wasn’t prepared.
Such can be the weather in Ohio.
This weekend, it doesn’t look like the weather will have the inconsistencies or dramatic shifts as those many years ago. All the forecasts and temperatures agree that Ohio will pretty much be cold. Very cold.
Therefore, an Ice Festival in Kirtland and a Winterfest at Buckeye Lake may be the perfect things to do this weekend. At least the ice and snow won’t be melting.
Of course, you can do something indoors as well- from a psychic fair in Canton to a reptile show in Lima. You can even shop at a vendor show in North Ridgeville if that’s more your speed.
