A few festivals and plenty of shows.
We’re not quite into festival season yet. By mid-April, things start to noticeably pick up. This is a period of shows and expos, which Ohio does not disappoint with this weekend.
Among the selections of shows, there are art and craft shows, home and garden shows, psychic fairs and reptile shows. But there’s also a Dairy Expo, a Bridal Show and a Steampunk Symposium to really spice up this weekend some unique events.
Concerning this weekend’s festivals, the formerly known Southern Indoor Music Festival – now the Industrial Strength Bluegrass Festival is taking place in Wilmington. There is also a KidsFest in Columbus, a Maple Festival in Montpelier and an Ice Wine Weekend in Madison.

At this time, I am constantly updating the Festival Guide, adding festivals, confirming dates and updating links. I’ve recently gone through May and June once more and will take another look at July and August in a couple of weeks. But feel free to write to me if you are involved with a festival that is listed with an asterisk next to the date or has the wrong dates. I’ll be happy to update it at any time.
