Happy Valentine’s Day Weekend, Festival Fans.
With Valentine’s Day Weekend approaching, it’s now time to get ready with your restaurant reservation, some flowers and maybe some chocolate. Of course, you could simply plan a date at a Chocolate Festival in Genoa, Ohio and make your partner really happy!
If chocolate (or Valentine’s Day) is not your thing, there are some shows/expos to check out this weekend. Honestly, it’s not a huge weekend and there’s more to do in other states. But things will be getting better – I promise.
Concerning the 2022 Ohio Festival Guide, I have been going through the listings and doing my best to update dates and links. I have finished my first run through the month of July. I should have August and September (two huge months) done sometime next week.
This is a long process as there are so many events. It’s also a pain sometimes because many websites are not yet updated with dates. Throw in this pandemic and there’s the element of uncertainty that events will be postponed or cancelled. Many events haven’t updated their info since 2019 and I’m not sure if they are still going on.
It’s a troubling time.
But I have a feeling things will be righted this year and events will happen with much more confidence.
The worst is behind us.
So, whatever you do this weekend, festival fans, I hope it’s a great one.
