A Festival Milestone

AUTHOR’S NOTE: Please read about my festival announcement and help me spread the word!

In these 5 years of Ohio travels…

…after celebrating mums…

…duct tape…

…pawpaws…

…and skunks…

…after meeting pirates…

…professional athletes…

…magical creatures…

…and Chef Allison Fishman (not to mention a giant banana)…

…and after eating plenty of funnel cakes…

…ethnic treats…

…and things I’d rather not admit to…

…I am finally getting ready to celebrate…

…my 300th Ohio Festival…

…on November 22 at the Festival of Trees in Wooster.

But being that this is a really big deal for me…

…I am asking everyone to help me celebrate by sharing this news in their blogs, tweets and emails…

…and let people know about the nearly 300 festival reviews waiting for them…

…as well as the 950+ festival listings on the Festival Schedule Page!

The more people, the better!

So please…

Blog. Tweet. Share.
Get the word out there!

…and I promise to put in a good word for you this Christmas!

Thanks in advance!

Kristian

Love the blog! I’m a native Ohioan (Amherst) who now lives in Texas… Unfortunately I work most weekends, but when I don’t I try to hit up the local festivals… It’s great to go to the small towns where all year the townsfolk look forward to that one weekend… It makes for a great atmosphere… Great way to spend time.

  2. Congratulations on this milestone! While we wish your 300th was in Lake County (wink, wink) we hope you have a great time tonight. Great job on your blog – it’s always a pleasure to read it and hear your adventures. Thank you for all your hard work!

Well, it looks like I missed your milestone, but wow! What an impressive goal to reach. 300 festivals takes some dedication. I’m going to nose around a bit and see if I can’t find some winter festivals to enjoy with my family. Congratulations on 300!

  4. Never knew Ohio had that many festivals. I love the idea of festivals but with 4 kids sometimes they are not as fun as they sound, lol. Hope you made it to Piqua Heritage Festival since they recently announced they will no longer be having it:(
Congrats on all your festival reviews. Cannot wait to explore the unique festivals of Ohio.
