The Waynesville Street Faire takes place downtown on a Saturday each month from June through September. Vendors line the street with handmade items, art, clothing and more with food trucks on one end of the block and live entertainment on the other. The Street Faire offers a great reason to further explore downtown shops and restaurants.

It was a beautiful day at the Waynesville Street Faire.
As children took advantage of the crafts area (Waynesville Area Arts Council)…
…swaying in their seats as they listened to Velvet Crush Unplugged perform a familiar melody…
…festival goers shopped among street vendors, who offered everything from potted plants to home decor…
…handcrafted goat milk soap to handcrafted domestic wood products (Nitty Gritty/Crosscut)…
…art created with paint to art created with inspirational verses (Visual Verses)…
…and all the dressings for their dolls, doors (Robin’s ADoornaments)…
…and even themselves (Kaitlin’s Style Society).
Once the shopping was complete, they could find food trucks at one end of the block…
…where options included BBQ and Philly Cheesesteaks (Smokin’ Bark/Claybourne Grille).
And, if they wanted some dessert, there were some fun cookies from Busky’s Bakery…
…and freshly spun cotton candy (Eyum Treats)
