This post documents my experience on September 29, 2012.
As I finished my festival day from Columbus to Greenville to Tipp City to Dayton and back to Columbus again, I was lucky enough to make it in time to finish my day…
…at Smith Farm Market‘s Fall Festival.
It was a small one, honestly, but filled with some fun activities for the kids…
…which included playing in the corn box…
…making your way through hay piles and tubing…
…painting pumpkins (and making scarecrows)…
…and checking out the critters…
…(which I enjoyed myself).
Equipped with a fine selection of autumn produce…
…(some more impressive than others)…

…the Smith Farm Market gave festival goers plenty of opportunities to take a few pumpkins home (via a purchase).
And, in case anyone was hungry…
…there were some options for snacking…

…grubbing…

…and some serious indulging, thanks to their bakery.
As the festival was coming to a close, I had the chance to relax on some hay…
…and enjoy some awesome bluegrass…
…which may have inspired me to take home this tasty souvenir.
AUTHOR’S NOTE TO SMITH FARM MARKET: I was told this was pumpkin pie covered in cream cheese by the cashier. Isn’t this really some sort of spice cake?
