Sharon Showcase – Sharon Center/Wadsworth, Ohio – My Experience

2023 DATE: June 24, 2023

AUTHOR’S NOTE: Sharon Center is in Medina County in the Wadsworth area.  The festival was located at the circle where OH-94 and OH-162 crossed.

Traffic heading to the festival was able to pass Road Closed signs in order to park in the designated lots and either be transported by bus (for free) or walk.

This post documents my experience on June 16, 2018.

The Sharon Showcase took place at the roundabout in Sharon Center…

…utilizing the outer lots for car show parking…

…local Boy Scout camping (Granger Troop 511)…

…and Chicken and Noodle cup serving (St. Paul).

Meal options, in general, were located outside the circle, offering pork sandwiches (Mt. Zwingli), hot dogs (Sassy Dog)…

…and pizza (Master Pizza)…

…while baked goods (Sharon Center UMC), fresh baked cookies (ToastHeads)…

…(which were delicious!)…

…and the beer garden were found on the circle green.

This was actually one of the nicer beer gardens I’ve ever seen…

…and it pointed to the gazebo so that guests could enjoy the live music (Mo Mojo)…

…as nearby children jumped in the inflatable…

…the Highland Robotics Team tested the box-carrying skills of a robot…

…the Get Bent Do Yoga crew did some stretching…

…kids prepped to break some boards (Kim’s)…

…and festival goers sampled a wide selection of pickles (Crazy Cucumber).

And speaking of selection, festival vendors offered a nice variety…

…from flowers (GreenSmith) and designed boulders (Boulder Designs)…

…to fair trade gifts (The Market Path) and jewelry…

…and various gifts in-between, including glass flowers…

…skateboard lamps (Whiskertin)…

…and adorable hand-sewn teddy bears (Yesterbear).
