This post documents my experience on June 16, 2018.
I headed to Sims Park…
…where colorful stilt walkers posed (Pick Up Stix)…
…bubbles floated every which way (Dr. U.R. Awesome)…
…balloon creations were formed…
…kite-flying was attempted (even with no wind present, unfortunately)…
…and there was just a lot going on!
This was the Euclid Wind Festival…
…a festival where wind was enjoyed through play…
…athletic challenges…
…and education, thanks to local wind turbines…
…and free trolley tours (Lolly).
The festival definitely catered to kids…
…with wall-climbing…
…sand castle building…
…and a Kids’ Area…

…set up with paper airplanes and kites…
…not-to-mention all the sweet treats that included kettle corn (Savannah’s)…

…shaved ice, and ice cream!

But there were also a nice selection of food…
…wine and beer to enjoy it with…

…beautiful jewelry (Erie Sands) and artwork (Creations by Donna)…

…local organizations providing the community with info and reusable bags (Euclid/Keep Euclid Beautiful)…
…and a stage set up for various forms of entertainment…
…including dance (Dancevert).
