Old Worthington Market Day – Worthington, Ohio – My Experience

2023 DATE: September 30, 2023

This post documents my experience on September 13, 2014.

Even with the unseasonably chilly weather in downtown Worthington…

…plenty of people still came for Old Worthington Market Day.

The one-day festival lined 200 arts and crafts dealers…

…selling jewelry…

…salsa (Montezuma)…

…clothing for women and concrete geese…

…plants, gourds…

…a bit of produce…

…OSU merchandise…

…plate flower decor…

…and even various antiques in the park.

Many local organizations also took part (Masons/Eastern Star)…

…endorsing politicians (Worthington Area Democratic Club)…

…inspiring the artistic muse (Art League)…

…finding homes for critters (Cozy Cat Cottage)…

…and raising money for both soldiers overseas (Buckeye Military Moms).

…and soldiers returned from foreign wars (VFW 2398).

And still there was more…

…with the occasional entertainer slipping between booth spaces…

…as well as food trucks and local restaurants serving up delicious grub (Savier/Rivage).

There was even a seasonally decorated sitting area where you could eat it.
