Ohio City Street Festival – Cleveland, Ohio – My Experience

This post documents my experience on September 25, 2016.

Parts of West 25th Street were closed to traffic…

…so that Clevelanders could celebrate the Ohio City Street Festival.

Here, as local organizations performed…

…and men sold Hillary Clinton buttons…

…festival goers walked along sections of lined tables…

…hosted by area galleries (Zygote), flower shops (Lush and Lovely)…

…legal practices (Taubman), athletic clubs (Tremont)…

…farms (Ohio City Farm)…

…inspiring non-profit organizations (LEAP)…

…and a huge selection of area restaurants and West Side Market food vendors that included…

SOHO, Momocho

The Plum Cafe and Kitchen

…and so much more (Touch Supper Club/Frank’s Brats).

Some of these restaurants even had displays of what the food looked like…

…leading me to get this Korean fried chicken leg from Touch Supper Club…

…and the grilled lobster tail from Kate’s Fish.

If festival goers weren’t enjoying their grub at one of the dining tables…

…they were off playing street games of skill…

…(which included dunking a banana)…

…or spending time in the Beer Garden area…

…and enjoying some of the musical performances (Top Hat Black).

Kids, meanwhile, enjoyed the Kid Zone area…

…where there were inflatables…

…games…

…balloon animals…

…and activities that involved art…

…music (The Bop Stop)…

…and theater.
