This post documents my experience on September 24, 2016.
Here in downtown Sandusky…
…the Sandusky State Theatre was putting on its 5th North Coast Oktoberfest.
QS Jazz was rocking under the main tent…
…as lined vendors sold various products…

…from comic-based gifts to beer-related beard balm (The Beerded Beard Company).
Around the corner…
…more vendors sold Oktoberfest merchandise…
…doll clothing…

…and many fall crafts.

As adults took advantage of the various beer stations…
…the wine station…
…and wine garden…
…kids had their own section for remote control cars…
…giant Connect Four matches…
…pumpkins decoration…
…a great deal of jumping…
…attempts to dunk an already cold and wet adult (poor guy)…
…and many considerations for their future.
Food-wise, trucks served up local perch…
…Mexican fare…
…and Italian desserts.

Fortunately, there was also German grub from schnitzel to brats…
…to truly celebrate the German spirit.
There was also the Germanic Glockenspiel stage…
…where entertainers rang the bell and performed* to fans below (Vocalocity).
* = mics weren’t working so well.
