AUTHOR’S NOTE: in 2018, the festival was renamed the Miami Valley Bluegrass and Artisan Festival
This post documents my experience on September 16, 2017.

It was a beautiful day in Miamisburg…
…perfect for celebrating the Miami Valley Bluegrass Heritage Festival.
This festival incorporated the Miamisburg Historical Society‘s artisan festival…
…with crafters…
…woodworkers (BlackWater Workshops)…
…and dulcimer players (Star City Dulcimers)…
…and blended it with the previously attempted Brewgrass Festival (they had rain the last two fests)…
…with its great music (The Vintage Ramblers)…

…and multiple beer options (various/Lucky Star/Star City/Warped Wing).
As the majority of people brought a chair or two to enjoy the music…

…kids played games and jumped around…
…the Parks and Recreation department shared other local events…
…and bike riding festival goers made use of the free valet…
…possibly before heading to the food area…

…where options included BBQ, burgers (Smok’n JoJo’s/Good Golly Miss Molly’s)…
…hot dogs and tater tots (Underdogs).
