I arrived in downtown Lebanon…
…following the music to find the Lebanon Oktoberfest…
…and I knew this was the right place.
In view of the stage, adult Oktoberfest fans purchased tickets…
…exchanged them for ice-cold beers…
…and relaxed in the biergarten…
…some with their children nearby at an arts and crafts table…
…although many stayed with their family to enjoy the music.
In-between beers, people could find a bite to eat along E Mulberry…

…as vendors there offered a selection of mostly Germanic foods…

…including various German sausages, garlic mushrooms, bier cheese and steak sandwiches.
I, myself, enjoyed this goetta with beer cheese on a pretzel bun.
Concerning other vendors, there was one that offered women’s clothing…
…another with masks, toys and bubble guns…
…and a Premier Health booth with reminders not to drink too much…
…(good thing there was coffee)…
…but I was confused as there seemed the possibility for many more as the festival blocked of this street section as well.
Who knows?
Maybe the street closure simply allowed adults to carry their beers with them so they could frequent nearby businesses as their kids played Connect Four…
…or maybe it just gave local bars the chance to sell some beer that weekend.
