The Lithopolis Honeyfest is an impressive honey festival in downtown Lithopolis…
…where nearly 100 vendors are lined down a closed section of West and East Columbus Street…
…and around the library lawn a bit further east.
Among the vendors were plenty of apiary and farm booths…
…offering plenty of honey samples…
…and all sorts of honey flavors and products…
…including honey stix and candies…
…infused honey…
…honey and nut toppings…
…and all sorts of products using beeswax, including lip balms, creams and soaps.
Bee-related gifts were popular at the festival as well…
…and they came as earrings, visors…
…keychains, handbags…
…towels, quilts…
…adorable bee critters…
…and miniature beehive homes.
Other items sold included windchimes and witch balls…
…3D printed creatures…
…hand-crafted fall wreaths…
…artisan jewelry…
…whimsical art…
…and beautiful mushroom pendants.
A food court area could be found at the center of the vendor areas…
…and guests could enjoy food options such as burgers…
…barbecue…
…Indonesian food…
…and various desserts.
For those who wanted honey food, a food truck in front of the library offered hot honey on pizza…
…and there was also honey kettle corn…
…and free honey sundaes…
…at the Re/Max office.
Finally, in terms of activities and entertainment, there was an arts and craft booth for the kids…
…two stages of live entertainment…
…two stages of Bee Beard entertainment…
…and an up-close viewing of some bees…
…thanks to the Central Ohio Beekeepers Association.
