It was a beautiful fall morning at the Warren County Fairgrounds…

…where festival goers from all around came for the Country Applefest.

Over 300 arts and crafts vendors lined the pavement…

…and filled various buildings and structures…

…offering everything from pumpkins and mums…

…to handcrafted jewelry (Becky Mac)…

…and everything in-between…

…including handmade cushions and colorful tutus…

…handbags and customized hats (Luna & Ella)…

…a wide selection of cold process soaps (Elliot Reid Boutique)…

…woodwork made from bourbon barrels (Wisher Woodworking)…

…all sorts of treats for both humans and pets…

…and decorative crafts whether for Halloween…

…Thanksgiving…

…or Christmas…

…which definitely made this guy happy.

After all the shopping, visitors could find a food area near the center of the festival…

…to fill up on gyros and pork chops from local vendors…

…a hot dog or snack from a local organization (Lebanon United Methodist Church)…

…and, if they looked closely enough at the food options…

…they could even find something with apple.

But it honestly wasn’t too hard to find an apple or apple product to enjoy (The Black Barn)…

…when there were caramel apples (Heather’s Gourmet)…

…apple dumplings…

…apple pie donuts, caramel apple sundaes…

Uncle Scotty’s Favorites apple crisp…

…plus apple bourbon jam, gluten free apple pies (GT Henhouse Creations/Creations by Georgina)…

…and all sorts of apple goodies…

…at the Irons Fruit Farm stand.

But I headed here for my apple treat…

…where they sold apple cider slushies…

…and happily sipped it down while listening to the band.
