2023 DATE: August 6, 2023
This post documents my experience on August 2, 2015.
The Chardon Square Association couldn’t have picked a more beautiful day…
…to have themselves an Arts Festival…
…especially when showcasing so many art festival offerings of a higher quality…
…with post office door banks (Bob Ingersoll)…
…glass sculptures…
…copper frog sculptures…
…inspirational photography (Tiffany Kimmet)…
…outside folk decor…

…and some rather cool bird houses.
This was a festival where…
…mittens were made from old sweaters (Second Season Wear)…
…and jewelry was made of paper (Paper Planet).
They even had a dulcimer duo performing…
…and one of the best caricature artists in the area (Tim Hosler).
But, in case you think it was a little too fancy…
…along with the very appealing peach shortcake…
…they had the modest festival foods of kettle corn…
…lemonade, hot dogs and chicken wraps to satisfy anyone’s tastes.
