The Calcutta VFD Italian Festival is a small fundraising festival with music, food and drinks.
Admission, sales and tips help support not only the Calcutta VFD, but also the volunteer fire departments in neighboring communities.

The Calcutta Volunteer Fire Department Italian Festival…
…is a small fundraising festival set up in plaza parking lot in East Liverpool.
Just outside the entrance, there was a car show…
…along department vehicles to see up close.
Inside the festival, just past the entrance…
…there was a covered lounge area…
…with Italian American decor…
…photo ops…
…tee shirts, cups, a 50/50 raffle…
…and a bar with guest bartenders whose tips supported East Liverpool 949 dispatchers and Glenmoor Fire Rescue.
And they weren’t the only ones the festival helped…
…as hot sausage sandwich sales helped the Negley VDF…
…and meatball subs and dirty soda sales benefitted the Newell VDF in nearby West Virginia.
There was also plenty of ice cream and shaved ice…
…face painting opportunities…
…and a large stage…
…for some Mambo Italiano.
