Ohio Festival Weekend: February 6-9, 2025

Early Valentine’s Day and the Blues this weekend.

Welcome back, festival fans.

You have a few festival and show options this weekend, especially if you want to get a head start on Valentine’s Day.

Find a gift for your loved one at a Valentine’s Day market or show in such cities as Akron, Cleveland, Lebanon, Troy and Springfield.

Or take your partner to Loveland, Ohio – known as the “Sweetheart of Ohio” and celebrate Valentine’s Day together at Heart’s Afire Weekend, where you will find entertainment, fire, ice and various fun activities.

Maybe you’ll want to swing by Genoa for the Chocolate Lovers’ Fest, where you can indulge in all sorts of chocolate samples: cakes, candies, fudge, brownies and other sweet creations.

But, if you can’t handle Valentine’s Day – especially if it’s due to a broken heart – the Cincinnati Winter Blues Experience may be just what you need to tap into those feelings and release that sadness (there’s also a Fishing Expo in Columbus if you’re not ready to deal with the feels).

If you didn’t already know, any date with an asterisk (*) means that I haven’t confirmed that event. Once the date is confirmed by me, I remove the asterisk and update the listing as necessary.

Currently, I have just gone through June and hope to update July in the next two weeks.
In March, I’ll go through August and September events.

As an FYI, just because the event has an asterisk doesn’t mean that the official festival website linked to the event isn’t already updated. So feel free to check it, just to be sure.

Also, sometimes, by checking an event in May, I find info on other events going on later in the year and confirm those as well.

So you may be surprised and happy as you plan for things in the fall.
