Lilacs, Tacos, Markets, Shows and more great events for your Mother’s Day Weekend.
Welcome back, Festival Fans.
While festival numbers across the states have decreased a bit this weekend (so that many mothers who usually are making you funnel cakes can enjoy some time with their families), there are still plenty of events and celebrations to enjoy with your mother.
If your mother likes shopping, check out the Mother’s Day Market and Festival in Norton, the Kent Flea and Makers Market, and the Vinoklet Winery Mother’s Day Lunch and Craft Show if you want to mix in some wine.
If she likes shopping AND flowers, the Toledo Night Market takes place at the Toledo Botanical Gardens or, not to far away, she could really enjoy the Defiance Lilac Festival and Street Fair (Review). If she needs some native plants for her garden, the Love Your Alley Festival in Bexley may also be worth a stop.
How about food? Does Mom like food?
Not only are there Food Truck Festivals in Loveland and Newark, but there’s a Taco Festival in Cincinnati, an International Festival in Oregon, and the Asian and Pacific Islander Asian Heritage Festival in Columbus.
