Toledo Pickle Mania took place in Toledo’s Warehouse District…
…where food trucks were set up along S Superior Street…
…and within two nearby parking lots…
…tempting festival fans with pickle dishes and sides, including pickle tacos, fried pickle chips…
…pickle pizza…
…Kool-Aid pickles…
…pickle on a stick…
…roasted corn with dill pickle salt…
…pickle flavored chocolate covered pretzels and more.
To wash all that pickle grub down, Toledo Spirits Company set up a bar…
…and poured pickle margaritas and pickle shots galore…
…but there were also non-alcohol pickle beverages…
…including pickle soda and this huge pickle lemonade.
If it was too much pickle, the abundance of food trucks offered plenty of non-pickle options as well…
…but you were likely going to have to wait for it, whatever you chose…
…as the lines were long just about everywhere.
Therefore, it was best to just try to be patient…
…take in the live music…
…and, if you were waiting with friends, take turns waiting in line while the others shopped among the various vendors selling Pokemon plushies, T-shirts…
…and, of course, pickles.
If you wanted to take an assortment of pickles home with you, one vendor would even let you taste each flavor beforehand and there were various size container options…
…but there was a line to that as well.
