Cleveland Area Pagan Pride Days – Bedford, Ohio – My Experience

This post documents my experience on August 27, 2016.

As I walked onto Bedford Public Square…

…an opening ritual was underway.

A bucket filled with water and selected trinkets…

…was being blessed…

…before the water was used to bless the circling crowd…

…and the Cleveland Area Pagan Pride Day Festival officially began.

After a suggested donation of 2 non perishable food items to be brought to the Information booth…

…visitors could enjoy entertainment on the main stage…

…various musical performances found along the grounds…

…all sorts of educational workshops with topics that included talismans, medicine, shape-shifting and healing…

…a children’s activity area…

…and a good amount of shopping…

…that included Tarot cards (Melinda Carver)…

…hanging charms and oils (The Dragon’s Mantle)…

…crystals…

…pottery…

…jewelry…

…turtle shell rattles (Wyldspirit Creations)…

…forged tools…

…kilts (Kilted Bros)…

…and even a bit of witch apparel.

Some vendors offered services, such as Henna (Artful Cricket)…

…massage…

…education about their organization (Black Sun Lodge)…

…divination/fortune telling (Diana Paar)…

…and animal connections.

The remaining vendors were all about the food.

And while you could get turkey legs here…

…or burgers at the place across the street…

…I got lunch at Scratch Food…

…where I enjoyed chicken with fried rice and veggies.
