We have finally made it to Ohio’s Festival Season!
From here through October, the weekends are going to start being plentiful with all sorts of festivals: cultural, music, art, historic, culinary and so much more.
Festivals are now taking place primarily outdoors…
…with this weekend’s Geauga County Maple Festival (Review) being one of the first festivals of the year with rides.

Not only are there Earth Day Celebrations and Spring Festivals in multiple cities this weekend, but there’s an Asian Food Festival in Cincinnati, a Music Festival in Kent, a Dogwood Festival in Piketon, an Eastern European Heritage Fest in Dayton, Trade Days in Lucasville, Reptile Shows in three cities, Vendor Shows, Craft Shows and still more.
Get out there and celebrate some festivals, Ohio.

If you didn’t already know, any date with an asterisk (*) means that I haven’t confirmed that event. Once the date is confirmed by me, I remove the asterisk and update the listing as necessary. Certain events will also get copied over to the Cleveland Festival Guide, the Columbus Festival Guide or the Cincinnati Festival Guide.
This last week, I have gone through November and December and will like give August a second glance soon.
As an FYI, just because the event has an asterisk doesn’t mean that the official festival website linked to the event isn’t already updated. So feel free to check it, just to be sure.
