Cherry Blossoms, Opening Day, Spring Markets and Dyngus Day.
Welcome back, festival fans.
It’s Easter weekend and many of your will focusing on coloring eggs, baking hams and getting ready for a family gathering.
Meanwhile, others of you may want to know what festivals are going on.
Fortunately, there are some festival events this weekend!
Cherry Blossom fans can celebrate in Akron and Columbus this weekend, while Opening Day will be returning to Cleveland with a festival to celebrate it in Ohio City.
If you’re in the mood for some shopping, there are some Vendor Markets as well.
Then, when it’s all over and you’ve had more than your fill of chocolate and deviled eggs, Easter Monday will bring back a popular Cleveland (and Polish) celebration…
…Dyngus Day (Review).
Take off work, gather pussy willow branches, squirt guns and a beard and head to Cleveland for some Polka, kielbasa, pierogi and other Polish delicacies.
Be sure to also watch the crowning of Miss Dyngus.
But whatever you decide to do this weekend, I hope it’s a safe and lovely one.
