North Olmsted Homecoming Festival – North Olmsted, Ohio

The North Olmsted Homecoming Festival is a nicely sized festival with rides, games and many booths representing local organizations, schools and churches. Very family friendly.

This post documents my experience on August 24, 2013.

When Max and I arrived at the North Olmsted Homecoming Festival

…I was really surprised at how big it was!

Along with some food vendors…

…there was a midway area…

…with more food…

…games…

…and rides.

There was a firetruck…

…a dunk tank…

…an entertainment stage…

…and events that included the Taste of North Olmsted…

…and a garden/flower show in the Senior Center.

And although I now can’t remember any gift vendor booths, the majority of the tons of local booths…

…represented political parties…

…school athletics…

…and area churches…

…while also including the Early Childhood PTA

…the Cub Scouts (Pack 332)

…the Kiwanis

…the Freemasons

…veterans (Post 7647) and more!

The thorough local representation really helped festival goers, especially those not from the area, get a reflection of the North Olmsted community…

…and while Max was a bit young to enjoy the clowns’ balloon animals from Christ the King

…he did receive a kind gift given by the Band and Orchestra Boosters…

…which entertained him for hours*.

* = until he managed to chomp off a piece of the football off with his teeth.
