5.) Music and Ribfest Review – Wooster – June 2, 2018

I took my younger child to the Music and Ribfest at the Wayne County Fairgrounds…

…where festival fans came together to sample BBQ (BG’S Main Event/After Hours/Pigtails/Off the Bone)…

…and vote for their favorite…

…all while enjoying some musical entertainment.

Along with BBQ, the festival also offered basic fair food…

Lerch’s donuts

…frozen yogurt…

…and a decent quantity of beer.

Before deciding on where to eat, my son was wandering around the Hog Wild Fun Zone…

…set up with inflatables…

…and a mini racetrack for kids more his age.

Meanwhile, I was showing interest in the Big Quota Raffle, where you could win a John Deere Gator…

…a Ford Focus…

…or $15,000…

…and I admit that I was pulled in for at least one ticket.  :-)

After my gambling purchase, we decided to stop at Smokin’ Joe’s Hog Wild Barbeque

…for some ribs and cornbread…

…which we enjoyed in a comfortable dining hall.

On the way out, we checked out the meats and sauces sold by Canaan Meats (who was actually offering free sliders)…

…and we got some rather delicious bacon to take home.
