Love Fest – Chardon, Ohio – My Experience

This post documents my experience on June 29, 2019.

Just through this short passage…

…and beyond the tie dye alien…

…peace and harmony were in the air…

…at a festival called Love Fest

…where festival goers could practice free yoga…

…express themselves through a face painting (Affordable Face Painting)…

…and take advantage of the shade…

…as bands alternated between two stages…

…and performed some groovy music (Chloe and the Steel Strings).

Two sections of vendors formed a half circle around the festival grounds…

…offering everything from local holistic dog food (Best Breed) to CBP oil…

…with plenty of hippie-esque vendors in-between offering fairy houses…

…books of love and healing (Emery Allen)…

…creative creature crotchet (Grace Duhlee Designs)…

…fantasy costume accessories (Goblin Glen Designs)…

…psychedelic apparel…

…and tie dye (with jewelry) galore (Love From Within).

Colorful direction was placed about the grounds…

…pointing families to the Little Groovers area for tie dye shirt-making…

…musical fun…

…games and activities (Geauga County Public Library)…

…and storybook time…

…directing visitors to this building…

…where they could take part in the Chinese Auction…

…or enjoy the art gallery inside.

…and leading hungry guests to the food vendors, who offered delicious BBQ (Smoke)…

…healthy options, such as salad wraps and vegan bowls (The Local Eden)…

…ice cream in all sorts of flavors (King Kone)…

…and, of course, some Peace, Love and Little Donuts.
