AUTHOR’S NOTES:
Donut Fest takes place in more than one city. While participating donut and coffee businesses may be different, the setup and operations will likely be the same.
I was given a media pass to document the event.
This post documents my experience on June 18, 2022, but I first attended Donut Fest in 2017.

After 5 years, I was happy to finally return to Red Space…
…where I was greeted with a paper boat…
…filled with the necessary donut and coffee tickets…
…for my upcoming adventure at Donut Fest.
Within the hallway that led to the festival…

…familiar faces helped inspire my sweet tooth…
…to find satisfaction in the space ahead.

I met up some with some friends (Eat Drink Cleveland/CLE Foodcast)…
…and we got in line…
…shaking our hips to the beat of the DJ…

…as friendly bakery staff posed, collected our tickets (The Mad Batter/Duck Donuts)…
…gave us explanations of each donut type available (Peace, Love and Little Donuts)…
…and then either served us a donut sample (Bigmouth)…
…or a miniature donut version (Donut Land)…
…some which were rather colorful…
…and daring (Marta’s N More).
It didn’t take long for my paper boat to fill up…
…let alone all of our boats…
…so finding a table and sharing was definitely encouraged…

…chasing that goodness down with some delicious joe (Ready Set!/Lekko).
Festival goers could get a take-home box for their leftovers from the merchandise table…

…or purchase even more donuts from some businesses if they wanted more.
Whatever you do, be sure to stop at the photo booth…
…because these are the memories you will want to remember.
