The Chatham Apple Butter Festival took place at Chatham Memorial Hall…

…where apple butter was being made on the grounds…

…and sold only a few yards away.

But, if guests wanted to taste the apple butter beforehand, they need only follow the bale-guided path…

…work their way through the food line…

…and get some served on a biscuit along with bean soup and apple cider (chili and hot dogs were also available).

While in the dining area…

…festival fans could listen to live music…

…get creative with arts and crafts (for kids)…

…take a chance in the raffle…

…purchase some locally grown vegetables and apples for the week…

…and get up close with some cool birds…

…and learn more about them, thanks to experts from the Medina Raptor Center.

And while stopping at the donut door was recommended at the end of the meal…

…anytime was a good time to stop at the country store…

…where local artists and crafters offered creations that included crocheted critters, handmade pillows…

…seasonal wreaths and Christmas ornaments.

Theresas’ Papercrafting

…photo album squashbooks…

…eye-catching vintage jewelry art…

…and very unique handcrafted jewelry.
