4.) Art by the Falls Review – Chagrin Falls – June 11, 2022

Only a few steps from the beautiful waterfall in downtown Chagrin Falls…

…festival fans were heading to Riverside Park…

…to celebrate everything that is art.

Art by the Falls, put on by Valley Art Center, brought together 120 artists and craftspeople…

…who showcased beautiful pottery (Wolf’s Den Pottery)…

…woodworking (ScoGo Woodworking)…

…paintings (Thomas LeGault)…

…metallic sculptures (Anderson)…

…eco printed clothing (Side Porch Design Studio)…

…hand forged time pieces and jewelry (The ExCB)…

…and miniature art (Blake Gore).

But still there was more, including collage art pieces made of vintage paper (Paper Cutz)…

…lamps repurposed from antiques (Lamps From the Attic)…

…robots created from all sorts of interesting items (Kendra Wood Art)…

…Halloween decor utilizing gourds…

…playful creatures made of ceramic (Neil James Martin)…

…and egg shells transformed into artistic designs and scenes (Crazy Cluckers Ranch)…

…which actually could be used as lamps.

Along with giving festival goers the chance to win some of the art in a raffle…

…the festival put them in touch with local organizations (Chagrin Valley Astronomical Society/Chagrin Falls Historical Society)…

…provided live entertainment (Dan Holt)…

…held a Kids’ Pavilion with various art activities…

…and set up a food court area…

…with Italian food, BBQ (Corbo’s/That Hawaiian Guy’s BBQ)…

…sweet treats…

…gourmet popsicles for dessert (Pop Culture CLE)…

…and a dining area to enjoy it all…

…which we did.
