4th of July Festivals including Doo Dah and many others.
Welcome back, festival fans.
The United States of America is turning 250 years young this weekend so why not celebrate it with a festival or two?
Not surprisingly, most of this weekend’s festivals are Independence Day themed and you can find them all over the state. There are also a few festivals celebrating things like Wings, Art, River Recreation, Grindstone, Ox Roasts and Antiques (but there will likely be a 4th of July element to it).
Here are some of this weekend’s festivals that I’ve frequented in the past.
This isn’t a weekend that I often get out for, but I’ll try to this weekend. Hopefully the hot weather will break a bit.
One thing to know about this week’s list: it is NOT a listing of all firework shows.
This post is about festivals that have vendors and entertainment. If the show doesn’t have these things, I won’t put it on the guide.
Fortunately, most of these festivals do have fireworks.
Be sure to go through the list and check the map for festivals around you (even in another state).
