Springtime, Bourbon and Critters too!
Welcome back, Festival Fans.
I am still hyped by the recent Total Solar Eclipse…
…and how this…
…could turn to this so quickly.
I won’t even share any close-up images of the sun/moon eclipse as nothing gives it justice. The sun’s corona bled over the moon in my photos and didn’t truly express how beautiful it actually was,. In my memory, the moon looked right it was right above you in the Earth’s atmosphere and not the great distance it actually is.
Amazing.

After last weekend, with all those events, it seems like the state is taking a small breather, since Festivals and Events aren’t as plentiful at the moment. Instead, they pick up next weekend and then really pick up as we enter May and June.
This weekend, there is a festival called The Awakening (Spring version) in Piketon with live music, camping 50+ vendors, an art exhibition, food vendors and even tattooing!
If you just want to dance the night away to the classics, such as the Beer Barrel Polka and possibly the Chicken Dance, then the Holy Toledo Polka Days may be perfect for you.
There’s also a nice Boubon Festival called Neat going on in Newark.
In terms of shows, there are some Vendor Markets and Art/Craft Shows.
You can also learn what the eclipse means in your chart at the Psychic Fair in Canton.
Plus there are Horse and Reptile Shows going on in Columbus and West Chester.
