50.) New Earth Festival Review – Atlanta, Indiana – September 22, 2018

In the town of Atlanta, Indiana…

…festival goers came early to park in fields and yards…

…purchase a rolling shopping bag…

…and shop…

…shop…

…and shop…

…among over 600 vendors…

…that took over the entire town…

…whether along the streets…

…along the train tracks…

…in front of churches…

…inside barns…

…and even on many people’s yards in town.

As kids rode ponies and took advantage of bounce houses…

…adults hunted deals…

…among the huge assortment of merchandise…

…that included colorful clothing…

…dog-inspired clothing…

…metal art…

…signs and wall decor…

…reindeer and pumpkins made from tree branches and stumps…

…tools and machinery…

…leather…

…produce…

…cigar box guitars (Rotten Roger)…

…guitar pick jewelry…

…floral arrangements…

…retro stuff galore…

…and just so much more.

With so many vendors, there was also a lot of food to feed the masses…

…offering everything from walleye and Amish deep fried pizzas…

…to beans, cornbread and pork on a stick…

…with some local wine to wash it down (Madison County Winery/Harmony Winery)…

…and plenty of indulgent desserts such as gourmet cake rolls (Audrey’s) and deep fried sugar cream pie.

And when shopping wasn’t enough to burn those sugar cream pie calories…

…festival goers could tour the history of Indiana’s automotive and racing heritage (Auto Indiana)…

…take in some great musical entertainment (3rd Row Boys)…

…and visit local booths for safety tips (Sheriff’s Office/Emergency Management)…

…a clear reason not to text and drive (PAID)…

…and prayer requests (Green Valley Church of Christ).

They could even ride a train (Nickel Plate Express).
