26.) FoxFest Review – Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania – September 9, 2017

125 years after a chapel named after John Fox was completed…

…the now Faith United Methodist Church decided to celebrate…

…and they did it via a festival called FoxFest.

At the festival entrance, the church offered free entries to win some gift baskets…

…while the Rotary offered a 50/50 raffle a few feet away.

Vendors congregated in the heart of the festival…

…with offerings that included floral arrangements (Arrangements by Daniele)…

…hand painted jewelry (Putrid Beauty Creations)…

…woodworking (Chuck Ondrizek)…

…and some hand painted mountain art (Jen Shaulis).

And back behind the church…

…Richard Risnear was just starting his show…

…as kids took advantage of church playsets…

…face painting…

…and a huge area of inflatables.

It wasn’t long before the smells of pulled pork (Meat Here/Black Box Bistro) …

…and beef bulgogi eventually made me feel rather peckish (Mr. Bulgogi)…

…but, in the end, I stopped at the Vagabond Taco Truck

…for a delicious taco with all the fixings.
